Job summary

Jobitus in Silvassa is seeking a Machine Operator to run plastic processing machines as per SOPs, assist in setup, monitor key parameters, and ensure smooth production.

The role welcomes freshers with ITI or Diploma (Fitter) and requires shift work, good observation, and adherence to safety standards. Salary is up to 2.40 LPA, with opportunities to grow in a packaging operations environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate plastic processing machines as per SOP and production requirements.
• Assist in machine setup, start-up, shutdown, and basic parameter adjustments.
• Monitor machine temperature, pressure, speed, cycle time, and other operating parameters.
• Ensure proper feeding of raw materials and smooth production operations.
• Inspect products for basic quality defects such as flash, short moulding, cracks, and dimensional issues.
• Maintain production records, machine logbooks, and shift reports.
• Perform basic cleaning and routine checks of machines and work areas.
• Inform the supervisor about machine abnormalities, breakdowns, or quality issues.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, housekeeping, and 5S practices.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.
• Achieve daily production targets while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
