Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer in India to design, implement, and support enterprise-wide Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive. You will manage tenant administration, licensing, user lifecycle, governance, and hybrid identity strategies using Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and Graph API automation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of infrastructure, platform, or systems engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 engineering and administration experience.

• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Experience leveraging Graph API for automation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Entra ID.
• Administer Microsoft 365 tenant with licensing, user lifecycle management, and governance.
• Manage Exchange Online mail routing, transport rules, retention policies, and messaging security.
• Configure Teams policies, governance, collaboration services, and user enablement.
• Work with Microsoft Entra ID: hybrid identity, conditional access, MFA, identity governance, and group/access management.
• Implement and support security/compliance capabilities: Purview, DLP, sensitivity labels, information protection, retention/eDiscovery.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation; use Graph API for administration and reporting.
• Integrate Microsoft 365 services with Active Directory and hybrid environments.
• Troubleshoot at scale in large Microsoft 365 environments; ensure high availability and security.
• Work with Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.
