Job summary

Spinny is seeking a Luxury EV Evaluator to inspect premium electric vehicles at customers' locations. The role requires hands-on experience with premium cars, EV systems understanding, and the ability to document faults using diagnostic tools and mobile apps.

You will visit customer homes, assess bodywork, tyres, suspension, and interior, and explain vehicle conditions in simple terms. Daily field work and strict safety procedures apply.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical / Electrical / EV-related studies required.
• Hands-on experience with premium cars and preferably EVs.
• Experience with luxury brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo, Porsche or other premium EV brands preferred.
• Experience in authorised service centres or premium multi-brand workshops preferred.

Job Role Luxury EV Evaluator

As a Luxury EV Evaluator, your job is to visit customers, inspect premium electric vehicles, and assess their overall condition. This is a field job, not office work. You should understand vehicle mechanical and electrical systems and be able to identify visible issues or warning signs in an electric vehicle.

What You Will Do

• Visit customer homes or locations to inspect luxury electric cars.
• Check the vehicle body, tyres, suspension, brakes, interior, and overall condition.
• Check EV-specific indicators such as battery/charging status, dashboard warnings, and visible charging-system issues, within your training and safety authorisation.
• Use approved diagnostic tools or applications, where applicable, to record vehicle faults and inspection findings.
• Take vehicle details and photos using a mobile phone app.
• Explain the vehicle condition in simple words to customers.
• Travel daily for vehicle inspection work.

Who Can Apply

• 46 years of experience as an automotive technician, car mechanic, diagnostic technician, or vehicle evaluator.
• ITI or Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical / Electrical / EV-related studies required.
• Hands-on experience with premium cars and preferably electric vehicles (EVs).
• Experience with luxury brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo, Porsche, or other premium EV brands is preferred.
• Candidates with experience in authorised service centres or premium multi-brand workshops are preferred.

Who Cannot Apply

• Service Advisors without hands-on technical inspection experience.
• Commercial vehicle mechanics (truck, bus, etc.).
• Plant or factory workers without vehicle inspection or repair experience.

Other Requirements

Must be able to read basic English.

Driving licence is compulsory.

Must be confident and safe when driving cars.

Own vehicle required.

Must be ready for field work and daily travel.

Must follow EV safety procedures and must not open or repair high-voltage battery systems unless trained and authorised.
