Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Ansible Automation developer for a hybrid role in Powai, Mumbai. The position requires hands-on Ansible development on Unix/Linux platforms with Bash scripting, along with strong CI/CD exposure and familiarity with cloud principles (AWS/K8s) or on‑prem automation.

You will work with Jenkins, Ansible Tower, Git and containerization, and engage with infrastructure tools and APIs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Ansible development experience.

Role & responsibilities

"Experienced Ansible Automation developer (hands on Ansible development)Working knowledge on Unix/Linux based platforms with shell scripting (Bash)

• Background in CI/CD, Cloud principles (AWS/K8s) or on prem automation techniques
• Experience of DevOps tools i.e. Jenkins, Ansible Tower, Git and Containerization
• Strong Experience with Infrastructure tools and APIs
• Exposure to ServiceNow integration via APIs and understanding of change management process in a large organisation
• Understanding of SLI/SLOs for measuring and reporting on service levels
• Awareness of monitoring frameworks for automation, e.g. Grafana
• Exposure to Terraform, Kubernetes, & micro-service concepts (not essential, but beneficial)
• Front end development experience (basic understanding)
• Knowledge of infrastructure and operating system fundamentals"
