Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks a Looker Developer to design and optimize semantic models in LookML, build dashboards in Looker, and integrate with BigQuery on GCP.

The role requires 4+ years of Looker experience, proficiency in ReactJS/React Native and NodeJS, and hands-on work with CI/CD pipelines, cloud infra (Azure/GCP), and API-based frameworks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Looker (LookML) semantic model building, core LookML, PDT and derived tables with BigQuery.
• Strong experience in LookML, Looker Dashboard, automated testing and CI/CD.
• Experience with API-based frameworks and building CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Cloud experience on Azure and GCP; ability to troubleshoot production incidents.
• Ability to automate development and production processes and stay updated on new trends.

Responsibilities

• Apply reliability engineering practices with support from SRE governance teams.
• Collaborate with capability teams to share best practices and improve operations.
• Develop and maintain Looker semantic models and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot complex production incidents and monitor system health.
• Automate processes to enhance development and production workflows.
• Work with desktop and mobile application aspects as needed.

Looker Developer

Required Technical Skill Set

Looker(Lookml) with GCP ,Big Query, knowledge on ReactJS, React Native, NodeJS

• Apply Reliability engineering practices with support from SRE governance teams.
• 4+ years of experience in Looker (Lookml) semantic model building, core lookml ,aggregate awareness, PDT,Derived tables with Big Query .
• Strong working experience, Access grants,Roles.
• Strong working experience in Lookml,looker Dashboard (automated testing, CI/CD etc.).
• Experience from working with API-based frameworks (e.g., Commerce tools).
• Experience in building CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions And Big Query Knowledge
• Experience of maintaining/supporting and/or developing desktop and mobile applications.
• Experience working on cloud-based infrastructure e.g., Azure and GCP.
• Collaborate closely within your Capability, share best practices as well as discuss and improve on operations ways of working.
• Technical analysis, troubleshooting of complex issues/Incidents in production.
• Improve monitoring performance by focusing on preventive measures.
• Automate processes impacting development and production leveraging tools and building scripted solutions.
• Knowledge of other Reporting Tool experience
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (ReactJS, React Native, NodeJS).
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and/or GCP cloud environments is nice to have.
• A passion for problem solving with strong analytical capabilities.
• Stay current on technical trends to suggest innovative tools and approaches to interesting problems.
