Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Looker BI Developer to design and implement Looker dashboards and LookML models in our analytics team. You will translate business needs into scalable BI solutions, collaborate with stakeholders, and optimize performance across data platforms.

The role demands strong SQL skills, experience with cloud warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse), and a proactive approach to data governance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in BI, Reporting, or Analytics development.
• Hands-on experience with Looker and LookML development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse).
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT, and dimensional modeling.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and dashboard design.
• Experience with Git/version control for LookML deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Looker.
