Job summary

AkzoNobel is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to lead warehouse and transport activities in India. You will oversee a team, coordinate 3PL partnerships, and drive cost-efficient delivery while maintaining safety and compliance across all logistics processes.

The role requires 3–5 years in retail logistics, proficiency with SAP/WMS/TMS, and strong English communication. Occasional onsite travel and shift work are expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in a warehouse and transport within retail
• MS-office, WMS and TMS experience, order management (SAP preferable)
• Experience in starting up a new warehouse or project
• English speaking and writing proficiency
• Experience in third party logistics management
• Experience with SQCDP and Lean management
• Ability to work under pressure with a can-do attitude
• Experience managing a team of 20-30 people
• Strong priority and presentation skills
• People development and conflict management skills
• Experience with 5Why, root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
• Experience with resource planning and cost control
• Owns a car and driving license and willing to travel onsite
• Willing to work OT on normal days and holidays
• Willing to work in shift rotations

Responsibilities

• Drive team to ensure delivery processes meet customer requirements and service lead times
• Manage 3PL warehouse operations including stock reception, storage, cycle counting, and order processing to achieve OTIF/SLA
• Prepare monthly KPI reports and coordinate cost reviews with transportation and 3PL vendors

• To lead owned resources, warehouse decorate finished goods to serve to deliver best quality service to customers, operations with compliance to the company HSE&S, control inventory accuracy, as well as provide better delivery service to customers than competitors.
• Drive logistics processes, inventory, internal and external warehouses to achieve KPI
• HSES meet KPI target to comply with all Global guidelines and assure zero accident
• To develop and control the Finished goods delivery with effectiveness cost control.
• Leadership and people management responsibility of a team Logistics Coordinator.
• Implementation and improvement of FGs warehouse solutions under consideration of the latest standards and best in class solutions.
• Consulting and supporting Production Planning, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, Marketing and Customer demand management in all new products launching.
• Cost control and Effectiveness in Plant Logistics
• Cost saving and continuous improvement to meet the KPI target.
• Make sure all compliant processes through audits by Global, Regional, internal programmes.

Key Accountabilities

1. Drive team to follow the process of delivery to meet Customers’ requirements and provide excellent service: Manage and allocate the resource of Logistics Coordinator to ensure all sales order are executed on time as per Service Leadtime. Improve the process across functions (CS team, WH team, transportation team) to ensure the excellent service toward the deliveries to customers On Time In Full of the products Safe and Sound.
2. Drive the activities of 3PL WH to meet the KPI target: Implement and improve the process to manage the 3PL WH operation including receiving stock from Chonburi (CHB), storage & cycle counting, stock reconciliation, receiving & processing customer orders through Order Entry team (OET) to achieve OTIF and SLA. Create and report the monthly KPI (inventory record accuracy, productivity, OTIF, delivery service, etc…) and drive the continuous improvement as Logistics manager assign. Drive the operation of warehouse decorate finished goods to ensure its capacity meeting the business requirement, the quality of colour accuracy and productivity. Assist Logistics Manager for periodical audit to ensure the warehouse operations compliant to the HSE&S requirement and stock kept as TH regulation. Lead annual stock count at 3PL WH.
3. Monthly cost reports & other supports: Assist to schedule the meetings with Vendors (transportation, 3PL) to review KPIs periodically (Month/Quarterly). Assist to work with Vendors to ensure that Vendors submit the Cost report as cut-off time, ensure PO creations are compliant as AN policy and all costs are accurately recorded on time monthly. Actively work with all stakeholders for any further improvement actions. Other tasks as assigned by Logistics Manager

Experience
