Job summary

Corteva Agriscience in Hyderabad invites a Logistics Specialist (Contract) to join the Global Procurement Service Center. You will process procurement requests for Logistics across regional zones and provide support to buyers and businesses on end-to-end transportation management.

The role requires 3–8 years in logistics, knowledge of shipment lifecycle, and hands-on experience with SAP/SAP S/4HANA and TMS.

Qualifications

• Graduate/PG graduate with 3–8 years in logistics and transportation management.

Responsibilities

• Provide transactional system and process support to Corteva procurement buyers and manufacturing sites from Procure to Pay as applicable.
• Work on all types of Logistics modes.
• Liaise with vendors on invoices and set up documents.
• Investigate transportation and shipment discrepancies.
• Monitor transactions according to Corteva's internal controls and policies.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders and stakeholders.
• Support freight settlement activities and resolve invoice exceptions.
• Work with Supply Chain teams to resolve shipment execution issues.
• Administration and reporting from Corteva systems and external sources.
• Monitor KPIs such as POT and FPY.
• Liaise with regional/global buying teams for portfolio management and savings.
• Drive continuous improvement in Requisition To Pay processes.

Job Type : Long-term contractual position with a six-month renewal cycle.

Job Description

The candidate will join the Global Procurement Service Center organization and will be responsible for processing Procurement requests for Logistics Global regions for the various transportation modes.

The role includes providing Procurement support to the buyers & businesses across the regions.

The role will be performed within the frame of Corteva's brand values.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Provide transactional system and process support to Corteva procurement buyers and manufacturing sites from Procure to Pay as applicable.
• Working on all types of Logistics modes.
• Liaise with vendors on various requirements such as invoice discrepancies, vendor set up documents etc.
• Investigate and resolve transportation and shipment discrepancies.
• Monitor and execute all transactions according to Corteva s internal controls and policies.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to ensure service continuity.
• Support freight settlement activities and resolve invoice exceptions.
• Work with Supply Chain teams to resolve shipment execution issues.
• Administration and reporting as necessary (from Corteva systems and external sources).
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Paid-On-Time (POT), First Pass Yield (FPY)
• Liaise with regional and global buying teams, manufacturing sites by providing information & analytical support in alignment with their goals on portfolio management and savings.
• Drive continuous improvement / process optimization on specific areas of the Requisition To Pay process.

Qualification/Experience / Skill Sets

• Graduate/PG Graduate with at least 3 to 8 years of experience in Logistics knowledge, Transportation Management
• Should have knowledge on life cycle of Shipments/tracking of Shipments
• Experience with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, TMS.
• Good Analytics Skills
• Excellent problem-solving techniques and decision-making skills
• Should have ability to multitask
• Good working knowledge in MS Office applications
• Should be willing to work in US Shift Timings, but flexible too depending on the requirement.
• Self-driven, results oriented with positive attitude towards changes and new challenges.
