Job summary

Crescendo Global Leadership Hiring India is seeking a Logistics Head to lead end-to-end warehouse and transportation operations for a prominent FMCG & beverage organization in Bangalore. You will drive efficiency, inventory accuracy, and cost optimization while shaping logistics strategy and leading a high-performing team.

The role requires 4–9 years of experience in warehouse and transportation operations, strong WMS/TMS expertise, and a BA/B.Tech or MBA from top institutes.

Qualifications

• 4–9 years of experience in Warehouse & Transportation / Logistics operations.
• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with WMS and TMS.
• Strong exposure to carrier/vendor management and logistics cost optimization.
• B.Tech / MBA from Tier-1/Tier-2 institutions; candidates from institutes such as NITs, IIMs, NITIE, SP Jain, and Welingkar are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end warehouse and transportation operations, ensuring efficient storage, distribution, and delivery.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, dispatch, distribution, and inventory management activities.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization while maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts.
• Plan transportation routes and manage the complete order-to-delivery cycle.
• Manage and negotiate with transporters, carriers, and logistics vendors to optimize service and costs.
• Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery and adherence to logistics KPIs.
• Develop logistics strategies and identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity improvement.
