Ashland India Private Ltd invites applications for a Logistics Operator to join the Ambernath India Plant Mumbai team. The role reports to the logistics supervisor and is an onsite full-time position focused on receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials in a GMP/GDP environment.

You will handle stock, cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and support production with timely material movements while maintaining safety and 5S standards.

Qualificações

• 2-5 years of experience in Warehouse, Stores, or Logistics operations.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical, Excipient, Chemical, Food, or FMCG manufacturing preferred.
• 10th /HSC/ITI or Bachelor in any field.

Responsabilidades

• Receive materials and finished goods as per approved procedures.
• Verify quantities, labels, batch details and material condition on receipt.
• Ensure proper storage and segregation of materials per GMP.
• Maintain material identification and status labels (Quarantine, Approved, Rejected).
• Perform material issuance and transfer to support production.
• Coordinate loading and unloading and verify dispatch documentation.

Ashland has an exciting opportunity for an Logistics Operator to join our Ambernath India Plant Mumbai team. The position will report to the logistics supervisor.

This is a Onsite full-time position.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Receive raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and finished goods as per approved procedures.
• Verify quantities, labels, batch details, and material condition during receipt.
• Ensure proper storage and segregation of materials as per GMP requirements.
• Maintain material identification and status labels (Quarantine, Approved, Rejected).
• Perform material issuance and transfer activities to support production requirements.
• Handle material movements using pallet trucks, stackers, and forklifts (where authorized).
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed during material issuance.
• Assist in material dispensing and reconciliation activities.
• Generate and update stock reports as required.
• Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory verification.
• Support reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and timely reporting of stock shortages or variances.
• Assist in monitoring stock levels and stock aging.
• Prepare materials and finished goods for dispatch.
• Coordinate loading and unloading activities.
• Verify dispatch documentation and transportation details.
• Follow GMP, GDP, and Data Integrity requirements.
• Maintain warehouse documentation as per SOP requirements.
• Ensure proper handling of approved, quarantined, rejected, and returned materials.
• Follow all site safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and 5S standards.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of materials.

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

• 2-5 years of experience in Warehouse, Stores, or Logistics operations.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical, Excipient, Chemical, Food, or FMCG manufacturing preferred.

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:

• 10th /HSC/ITI or Bachelor in any field.
