Job summary

Halliburton in Mumbai seeks an Entry-Level Engineer in Geoscience/Engineering to join Sperry Drilling Svcs and support project teams under supervision.

You will contribute to data analysis and learn consulting delivery processes while developing technical skills in the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in geoscience or engineering (STEM preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Log Analysis or petro-physics.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, applies basic science and technology knowledge gained through training and experience.
• Articulates and applies main processes for assignment delivery within consulting focus area(s).
• Manages own workload to meet service targets with limited involvement in business development.
• Resolves basic assignment delivery issues with guided support.
• Contributes to project teams and understands value contribution.

Job Duties

• Under direct supervision, has solid knowledge and understanding of applicable science and technology, gained through formal training and work experience.
• Demonstrates knowledge of existing and emerging technology within consulting focus area(s). Understands, can articulate and apply mainstay process for assignment delivery.
• Understands individual value contribution to project teams.
• Effectively plans and manages own workload to meet desired service level targets. Is occasionally involved in customer contacts and has limited involvement in business development activities. Has a basic understanding of consulting practice development, project delivery and business development.
• Consistently demonstrates appropriate objection handling capability and is able to understand and effectively resolve basic assignment delivery issues.
• Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization.
• Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined.
• Completion of an undergraduate degree in geoscience or engineering (STEM preferred) required. Minimum of 1 years of experience in Log Analysis or petro-physics.
