Job summary

Unacademy in Bengaluru is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Operations professional to join our team. You will manage daily loan cases and coordinate with lenders and Sales Teams to ensure timely processing and closure of requirements.

Additionally, you will monitor bottlenecks, handle escalations, guide the Sales Team on pending items, and ensure compliance with SOPs. 1–3 years of experience and strong Hindi/English communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in loan operations or related field.
• Solid understanding of loan processing workflows.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases within tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily loan cases and ensure timely processing within defined TATs.
• Coordinate with lenders and Sales Teams for smooth application processing and closure of pending requirements.
• Monitor pending cases, identify bottlenecks, and drive timely resolution.
• Handle loan-related escalations and customer/learner complaints.
• Guide the Sales Team on pending requirements, rejected/non-approved cases, and possible resolutions.
• Ensure adherence to defined processes, SOPs, and compliance requirements.
• Identify and potential cases of mis-selling or non-compliance.
• Analyse recurring operational challenges and work with stakeholders to improve the loan journey.
• Coordinate with lenders for course/goal mapping, re-mapping, and enabling required goals on loan forms.
• Support the Sales Team with payment failures and other loan-related concerns.
