Job summary

Consolidated Analytics seeks an experienced US Residential Mortgage Underwriter with live underwriting experience. You will review Income, Credit, Collateral, and Capital, and assess loan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with lender guidelines.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in US residential underwriting, familiarity with Purchase/Refinance/Construction loans, and knowledge of Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac guidelines to support accurate loan decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years' work experience in US Residential Mortgage underwriting (Live).
• Experience in reviewing Income, Credit, Collateral & Capital.
• Familiarity with Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and verify income, assets and ratios for loan approval.
• Review and process underwriting for Purchase/Refinance/Construction loans.
• Assess loan attributes and documentation for soundness and compliance with guidelines.
• Evaluate appraisal reports for accuracy of property value and condition.
• Approve/deny or counter-offer based on borrower eligibility and policy.

Job description

A Minimum of 3+ years' work experience in US Residential Mortgage specifically in Frontend (Live) US Residential Underwriting.

About the Role

Expertise in Underwriting – Reviewing Income, Credit, Collateral & Capital.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in calculating all type of Incomes (Salaried/Self Employed and Other Income), Asset & Ratios.
• Must have experience in Underwriting all type of loans Purchase/Refinance/Construction.
• Expertise in reviewing the Guideline (Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac).
• Evaluating the Loan documents for approval/rejection.
• Review Appraisal document to identify whether the property has been evaluated correctly.
• Assessing loan attributes and documentation for soundness and accuracy.
• Approving/Denying/Counter Offer the loans after verifying borrower eligibility.

Qualifications: Minimum 2 years' experience in Live underwriting (All 4c's). Pre-underwriting not eligible.
