Job summary

DMart in Thane is seeking a litigation coordinator to manage and oversee the company's legal matters across Consumer Court, FSSAI, Legal Metrology, Civil, Essential Commodities and IPR domains.

You will draft and vet written statements, replies, evidences, petitions, affidavits and other pleadings, while maintaining MIS dashboards and reporting on litigation status. You will safeguard the organization's legal interests and support the head of legal with ad-hoc assignments.

Qualifications

• Shall coordinate litigation matters across Consumer Court, FSSAI, Legal Metrology, Civil, Essential Commodities and IPR domains.
• Assist in drafting and vetting written statements, replies, evidences, written arguments, complaints, petitions and affidavits.
• Protect the organization’s legal interests by proper management of the litigation portfolio and risk minimization.
• Knowledge of FSSAI Act, Legal Metrology Act, Consumer Laws, Intellectual property laws, Criminal laws.

Responsibilities

Location :- Thane

• Shall be responsible for coordinating litigation matters which includes matters pertaining to Consumer Court matters, FSSAI matters, Legal Metrology matters, Civil matters, Essential Commodities matters, IPR matters etc.
• Support in Drafting and/or vetting of written statements, replies, evidences, written arguments, complaints, petitions, affidavits, appeals, applications etc.;
• Ensuring and protecting the legal interest of the organization by ensuring proper management of litigation portfolio and minimizing risk of the organization;
• Knowledge of FSSAI Act, Legal Metrology Act, Consumer Laws, Intellectual property laws, Criminal Laws etc
• Keeping track of litigation matters, maintain MIS and reporting thereof:
• Manage any other assignments been assigned by the functional head /reporting manager.
