We are looking for an experienced Linux and HPC system administrator to manage , optimize and scale enterprise High Performance Computing Infrastructure. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years’ experience in managing Linux environment in large enterprise with 2+ years hands‑on experience in work load management tools like LSF/ Slurm. This role requires strong technical and problem‑solving skills, along with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Linux & HPC System Administration
Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Linux OS & applications (Red Hat and Ubuntu) across large bare‑metal and virtual environment.
Install, configure, monitor and optimize HPC clusters to maximize cluster utilization.
Perform system monitoring, patching, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Manage enterprise identity services and access controls.
Infrastructure & Platform Support
Support physical, virtual, and AWS‑based Linux environments used for semiconductor design.
Manage core infrastructure services such as DNS, LDAP, NFS, and web/application servers.
Ensure system reliability, availability, and security.
Security & Compliance
Implement security best practices, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
Support audits, compliance activities, firewall management, and access reviews.
Incident Management & Operations
Monitor infrastructure health and respond to system issues and outages.
Diagnose and resolve batch scheduler workload anomalies, failed jobs, resource issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Maintain operational documentation and procedures.
Automation & Continuous Improvement
Develop tools and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency for the infrastructure, especially for HPC environment.
Support infrastructure automation, configuration management, and DevOps initiatives.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with engineering, network, security, cloud, and HPC development teams.
Provide technical support and knowledge sharing across the IT organization.
