Role - Linux Multimedia Engineer

Experience - 3 to 6 years

Location - Hyderabad

• Bachelors/Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• Should be very familiar with the usage of AI tools.
• Experience in Android and Linux multimedia frameworks and Linux Kernel development, with a focus on V4L2.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and multithreaded programming.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, data structures, and basic algorithms, particularly for Linux/Android platforms.
• Software debugging skills in embedded real-time operating systems, preferably on Linux platforms.
• Video usage models including playback, streaming, camcorder, Wi-Fi display, and content protection.
• Video compression standards such as H.264/H.265/AV1.
• Linux device-driver development and debugging, such as V4L2.
• Streaming protocols and implementation, such as HLS/HTTP/DASH.
• Expertise with Linux tools and techniques, such as WinDbg and JTAG.
• ARM or other embedded SoC development and debugging.

Must-have skills: C, AI tools, data structures, RTOS, and multimedia framework expertise.

Good-to-have skills: C++, V4L2, video codecs, GStreamer, Android, and embedded-domain expertise.
