Job summary

Sampoorna Consultants in Bengaluru is seeking a Linux Kernel Engineer to work across multiple kernel versions, validate stability with LTP and Kselftest, and debug regression bugs. This role requires deep kernel engineering expertise and collaboration with hardware teams to ensure performance and reliability.

You will contribute to CI/CD workflows for kernel development, understand hardware interactions, and drive robust kernel modules and device drivers using C.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Proven Linux kernel development experience, including writing device drivers and kernel modules.
• Strong understanding of operating system concepts and computer architecture.
• Proficiency in C programming; familiarity with other languages is a plus.
• Experience with Git and other version control systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Knowledge of debugging tools and techniques for kernel development.
