Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking an experienced Linux Kernel engineer to join our kernel development team. You will work on kernel configuration, building, debugging, and driver developments for NAND, MMC, SCSI, and UFS devices across ARM platforms.

The role involves BSP porting, file system work with EXT4/F2FS, bootloaders like U-Boot, and close collaboration with Android on-device bring-up. Strong C and scripting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience on Linux Kernel Configuration, Kernel Building and Debug (trace logs, kernel crash logs).
• Experience on Linux Block device driver development.
• Experience on Linux BSP (Board support packages) and porting.
• Experience on Linux File systems like EXT4, F2FS.
• Experience on Linux boot loaders (U-Boot, Fastboot).
• Experience on Linux Block Layer and Board Bring up (ARM with Android and Linux).
• Knowledge of OS concepts and GNU toolchain/make system.
• Strong C programming and debugging skills.
• Script development using Python, Perl, PowerShell.
• Understanding of Linux kernel source code.

Responsibilities

• Experience in testing Linux device drivers and automation of test cases, code coverage and unit test framework.
• Experience in NAND firmware development and NAND/NAND device drivers.
• Experience with Android application development.
