Responsibilities

• Kernel development and application software development for Linux embedded solutions.
• Configure kernel and device drivers, integrate into the system.
• Perform memory management, synchronization, and power management tasks.
• Debug and troubleshoot kernel modules and drivers, write patches for mainlining.
• Work with Git-based workflows to create patches and review changes.

Job Description

Tasks / Responsibilities: Will be responsible for kernel development and Application software development for Linux embedded solutions.

Expected skill set:

• Linux internals
• Strong foundation in C programming and shell scripting
• Proficiency in yocto build environment and cross compile toolchains

Experience in developing device drivers Configuration of kernel Configuring and customizing device tree Integration of driver into overall system

File operations and system call Configuration and interrupt management

Memory management in drivers Basics of power management Synchronization mechanism (mutex, semaphores, spinlocks)o Performance analysis for time critical modules like touch.

Proficiency in Git- rebasing, commit so Creating patches and rule check so Mainlining of kernel modules Experience working with basic communication protocols and integration in driver so UAR To I2Co SPI.

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills Overview of different processor platforms Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Good to Have skills: Experience in the following skills is an added advantage

Touch/Display drivers Network and Wifi drivers U-Boot, secure boot and signing Multimedia and Graphics
