Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a proficient Linux Engineer with strong experience in hosting and configuring PHP-based websites. The ideal candidate should be capable of setting up and managing servers using Apache and Nginx, monitoring system and application logs, and ensuring robust backup and restoration processes. Experience with Ubuntu systems, SSL implementation, and cloud environments is essential.

• Host, configure, and maintain PHP-based websites on Linux
• Setup and manage Apache and Nginx web
• Perform regular monitoring and analysis of system logs and application
• Install and manage SSL certificates for secure site
• Apply regular patches and updates to Ubuntu
• Manage and test backup and restoration
• Optimize server performance and ensure high
• Work with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, ).
• Troubleshoot server, network, and application
• Document server configurations and processes.

Technical Competency:

• Proven experience as a Linux System
• Strong knowledge of PHP website hosting and
• Expertise with Apache and Nginx setup and
• Deep understanding of log monitoring and log
• Hands‑on experience with SSL certificate
• Proficiency with Ubuntu Linux, including patch
• Experience in system backup and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and virtualization.

Functional Competency:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or
• Scripting experience with Bash or
• Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Exposure to Docker, firewalls, and DNS configuration is a plus.
