We are looking for a skilled Linux Engineer to join our team and contribute to end-to-end Linux kernel customization for embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Linux internals, kernel programming, and embedded system development. This is a hands-on role that involves kernel source modifications, driver integration, system configuration, build, and stabilization for embedded platforms.

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Linux kernel customization including source code modification, configuration, and build processes.
Analyze and resolve Linux kernel oops, back traces, crashes, and performance issues.
Work on Linux device drivers and integration into embedded Linux systems.
Execute and manage Linux Test Projects (LTP) for validation and stabilization.
Set up and manage embedded Linux environments including toolchains and evaluation boards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for feature integration and release activities.

Technical Skills Required:

1. Linux Kernel Skills:

Strong understanding of Linux kernel programming and OS internals.
Proficiency in debugging Linux kernel issues (oops, panics, hangs, etc.).
Experience with device driver development and integration.
Knowledge of device tree architecture and customization.
Hands-on with LTP testing and result interpretation.

2. Programming & Scripting:

Proficient in C programming for system-level development.
Working knowledge of scripting languages like Bash and Python.

3. Linux Environment & Tools:

Experience with GIT/GitHub for version control.
Building and customizing Linux kernels for x86/x86_64/ARM/ARM64 architectures.
Familiarity with cross-compilation, toolchains, and embedded build environments.
Experience with configuring and using serial tools and servers: minicom, telnet, UART, NFS, TFTP, etc.
Understanding of build utilities like compilers, linkers, and assemblers.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with embedded development boards (e.g., Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, etc.).
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
