Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru is seeking a Linux Admin at JL4 level with strong Linux networking, routing, NIC bonding and related troubleshooting capabilities.

The candidate should have hands-on experience deploying Linux VMs on VMware ESX and Nutanix AHV, familiarity with LDAP services, security hardening, reporting, risk management, and collaboration to mentor juniors.

Qualifications

• Very good knowledge of Linux networking, routing, NIC bonding, and related troubleshooting.
• 15 VM Deployment Experience deploying Linux virtual machines on VMware ESX and Nutanix AHV.
• 16 Management Consoles Familiarity with HPE iLO, HPE OneView, and virtual machine consoles.
• 17 Directory Services Knowledge of LDAP services is an added advantage.
• 18 Security Governance Very good knowledge of security hardening and auditing.
• 19 Reporting and Risk Experience preparing capacity reports and risk registers.
• 20 Leadership Strong team player with the ability to mentor team members and build the skills of junior resources.
• 21 Knowledge Management Ability to prepare clear and reusable knowledge articles.
• 22 Additional Platforms Knowledge of HP-UX or SUSE Linux is an advantage.
• 23 Service Management Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow is desirable.
