Job summary

Cynosure Corporate Solutions in Chennai is seeking an experienced Line Inspector with strong welding and fabrication inspection knowledge to ensure production items meet quality and dimensional standards.

You will inspect welded/fabricated components, interpret drawings and welding symbols, document results, and collaborate with production teams to address quality issues. The role includes 8-hour shifts with overtime and perquisites like housing and canteen facilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect items produced on the production line for quality, dimensions, and conformity to specifications.
• Utilize gauges, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to verify product tolerances.
• Perform inspections specifically on welded and fabricated components to ensure accuracy, alignment, and finish as per drawings and standards.
• Document inspection results and identify defects or recurring quality concerns.
• Collaborate closely with the production and welding teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and relevant industry regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the inspection area.
