Job summary

Lonza is seeking a LIMS Configuration Specialist in Hyderabad, India to configure, enhance, and operate LabVantage LIMS across global QC labs. You will perform configuration, interface development, reporting, validation, and documentation support to ensure data integrity and compliant lab workflows.

The role requires hands-on LabVantage LIMS experience, Java/Groovy development, SQL proficiency, and knowledge of GxP and CSV validation, with strong communication and ITIL-driven service management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience with pharma laboratory applications (LIMS, LES, ELN).
• Hands-on experience with LabVantage LIMS configuration and interface development.
• Software development experience with Java and/or Groovy.
• Experience with reporting technologies such as Jasper or Crystal Reports.
• Strongdatabase & SQL knowledge (MS SQL).
• Understanding of GxP, data integrity, and computer system validation requirements.
• Experience writing and updating technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.

We are seeking a LIMS Configuration Specialist, a key role within our Laboratory Management IT team. This position supports the configuration, enhancement, and ongoing operation of the gLIMS Laboratory Information Management System (LabVantage) — a business‑critical GxP system that enables digital laboratory workflows and operational efficiency across Lonza’s global quality control laboratories.

Job Summary

As a LIMS Configuration Specialist, you will work closely with System Owners to perform configuration, reporting, instrument integration, and validation activities to ensure data integrity and efficiency in laboratory operations. You will maintain and update documentation to ensure compliance with GxP regulatory standards while supporting laboratory workflows through system enhancements and support activities.
