Job summary

Archiworld in Delhi invites fresh graduates and early-career designers to join an architectural lighting design team. You will assist experienced designers, conduct research, prepare drawings, presentations, and calculations, and participate in site reviews to see how lighting ideas are developed in practice.

No prior lighting experience required; a genuine interest in light, spatial understanding and design ability is valued.

Qualifications

• Background in architecture, interiors, landscape, product design or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Photoshop.
• Strong drawing, sketching and presentation skills.
• Curiosity, attention to detail and organised approach.

Job description

Overview

This role is for someone beginning their journey in architectural lighting design, whether starting out professionally or coming from another design discipline. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in light, curiosity, spatial understanding and design ability. Prior lighting experience is not essential; a willingness to learn is.

Responsibilities

• You will work alongside experienced designers, supporting research, drawings, presentations, calculations, documentation, sample reviews and mock-ups. Through direct project and site involvement, you will learn how a lighting idea is developed and carried into built work.

Requirements

• A background in architecture, interiors, landscape, product design, graphic design or a related field
• Strong working proficiency in AutoCAD and Photoshop
• Good architectural drawing, sketching and presentation skills
• Curiosity, attention to detail and an organised approach to work
• Recent graduates and early-career designers are welcome to apply. Previous exposure to lighting design, DIALux evo or architectural rendering is useful but not essential.
