Job summary

Aye Finance is seeking a legal professional to evaluate property cases across branches, advise on title search reports for mortgage/security, and ensure due diligence to prevent fraud in property appraisals.

You will coordinate with external lawyers, monitor vendor performance, and maintain MIS for case documents and policies, while updating state legal annexures as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation of all cases (individual property) from a legal perspective within all the allocated branches.
• Providing advice to all business on the acceptance of title search report/property for creation of mortgage/ security.
• To ensure due diligence during appraisal of the property and keep a check on frauds relating to property.
• Adherence to TAT by the appointed external legal counsel in providing the reports.
• Co-ordinate and interact with the external Lawyers for investigation of the title of the property and discuss the issues of the title and remedies before creation of security.
• Monitoring and assessing performance of Empanelled Vendors as prescribed.
• Maintain and circulate MIS of all the cases including agreements, legal compliance, checklist, etc.
• Drafting MODTD, Special conditions for the cases & any other relevant MISes as required from time to time.
• Customising the requirements of all different branches for legal documentation, institutionalisation, and make branches aware and follow the same.
• Updating/modification of legal policy annexure/State legal policies on on-going basis.
• Advising on Enforcement of Securities Interest and to help in the litigation matters by giving necessary instructions, documents, etc as may be required by internal or external representatives from time to time.
