The candidate should have a law degree and relevant certifications in data privacy or cyber law, with strong contract drafting skills and ability to mitigate technology-related risks.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on data privacy, data protection and information governance matters.
• Advise business teams on applicable privacy laws and regulatory requirements.
• Review and draft Privacy Policies, Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Data Protection Addendums, consent mechanisms and privacy notices.
• Review, draft and negotiate SaaS, cloud service, software licensing, IT services, system implementation, technology outsourcing, maintenance and support agreements.
• Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks in technology contracts.
• Advise internal stakeholders on technology procurement and vendor relationships.
