Role & responsibilities

Role Purpose: To manage legal recovery activities for vehicle loan accounts, coordinate with advocates and recovery agencies, ensure compliance with legal procedures, and support the recovery of overdue and written-off loan accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle legal recovery cases related to vehicle loans (CV, Auto, Used Car, Tractor, etc.).
• Coordinate with panel advocates, courts, police authorities, and recovery agencies.
• Initiate and monitor legal actions against default borrowers.
• Prepare and maintain legal documentation, notices, petitions, and case records.
• Follow up on seizure, repossession, and auction processes as per company policy and legal guidelines.
• Track court cases and provide regular status updates to management.
• Verify legal documents related to loan agreements and recovery proceedings.
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, company policies, and applicable laws.
• Support settlement negotiations and resolution of delinquent accounts.
• Maintain MIS reports and recovery dashboards.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: LLB (Bachelor of Laws) preferred. Any Degree with relevant legal recovery experience may also be considered.
• Experience: 1-5 years in legal recovery, collections, NBFC, banking, or vehicle finance sector.
• Knowledge of SARFAESI Act, Arbitration Proceedings, Negotiable Instruments Act, and recovery laws is an advantage.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting.
