Job summary

Mahindra Finance in India seeks a seasoned legal recovery professional to manage recovery of bad debt and NPAs through legal actions, coordinate with advocates and agencies, and oversee notices and suits.

You will monitor court cases, provide guidance to collections teams, prepare MIS reports, and drive achievement of legal recovery targets while ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage legal recovery and resolution of bad debt/NPA accounts through appropriate legal actions.
• Coordinate with advocates, collection agencies, and internal teams for debt recovery and case follow-up.
• Draft, review, and issue legal notices, recovery suits, arbitration matters, and enforcement actions.
• Monitor court cases, DRT proceedings, SARFAESI actions, and ensure timely legal compliance.
• Provide legal guidance to business and collections teams on recovery strategies and risk mitigation.
• Prepare MIS reports, track recovery progress, and ensure achievement of legal recovery targets.
