Job Overview:

We are looking for a Legal Associate who will be responsible for legal drafting, documentation, and handling recovery-related communications. The role involves coordinating with clients, preparing legal notices, and assisting in debt recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Legal Drafting & Documentation

• Draft legal notices, agreements, affidavits, and other legal documents
• Review contracts and ensure compliance with applicable laws
• Maintain proper documentation and case records

2. Recovery Calling & Follow-ups

• Conduct recovery calls to clients/customers regarding outstanding payments
• Negotiate payment terms and follow up for timely settlements
• Maintain call records and recovery status reports

3. Case Coordination

• Assist in handling legal recovery cases (civil/financial matters)
• Coordinate with advocates, clients, and internal teams
• Prepare case summaries and updates

4. Compliance & Support

• Ensure adherence to legal procedures and company policies
• Support senior legal team in ongoing matters

Required Skills:

• Strong legal drafting and research skills
• Good communication and negotiation abilities
• Basic knowledge of civil and recovery laws
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

• LL.B. (mandatory)
• Enrollment with Bar Council (preferred but not mandatory for freshers)

Preferred Profile:

• Experience in legal recovery, NBFC, banking, or law firm
• Exposure to debt recovery processes and legal notices
• Confident in handling telephonic conversations with clients
