A corporate and employment law firm in Gurugram is looking for a Legal Associate with at least 1 year of experience in corporate and employment laws. Job description

We are seeking a Legal Associate with minimum 1 year’ practical experience in corporate and employment laws.

Location is Gurgaon, hence the position is limited to candidates from Delhi NCR.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and finalise contracts and other legal documents including employment agreements, HR policies (POSH, code of conduct, BCP etc), privacy policies, ESOP grant letters, vendor/service agreements, investment agreements (SHA/SSA), legal notices and communications.
• Conduct legal research and prepare clear advisory notes and actionable legal opinions on corporate, data privacy and labour/employment matters.
• Take ownership of routine client communications: handle calls, explain drafts and close matters with minimal escalation.
• Follow firm SOPs, checklists and trackers to ensure quality control and timely delivery.
• Contribute periodically to the firm’s publications and client-facing materials.

Required qualifications & skills

• LL.B. or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in corporate and employment law (practical drafting and client exposure required).
• Strong drafting, legal research and written communication skills in English.
• Comfortable conducting client calls and meetings independently.

Compensation

• Salary Range: ₹4,80,000 – ₹6,00,000 per annum (This is the Net Salary (take-home, post-tax deductions)
• Only applicants based in Delhi NCR will be considered.
