Job description

Cutting & Stitching: Accurately cut leather panels and stitch jackets as per approved patterns and tech packs.

• Sample Development: Work closely with the design team to develop new samples and styles.

• Pattern Understanding: Read and interpret patterns, measurements, and specifications.

• Quality Control: Ensure precision, neatness, and high-quality finishing in stitching and construction.

• Material Handling: Understand various types of leathers (lamb, cow, goat, suede, nubuck, etc.) and their handling techniques.

• Team Coordination: Supervise or guide junior tailors, helpers, and support staff if needed.

• Repairs & Alterations: Make modifications or adjustments as required in prototypes or bulk pieces.

• Production Efficiency: Maintain timelines and ensure productivity standards are met.
