Job summary

Manning Consulting in Hyderabad, India is seeking a Lease Accounting Analyst to manage end-to-end accounting under ASC 842 / IFRS 16, including abstraction and ROU asset calculations.

You will maintain schedules, perform monthly journal entries, reconcile sub-ledgers to GL, support month-end closes, and coordinate with FP&A and audits while using LeaseAccelerator, Visual Lease, Nakisa, SAP and Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field.
• Solid knowledge of ASC 842 and IFRS 16 lease accounting.
• Experience with month-end close and lease reconciliations.
• Ability to manage multiple lease portfolios and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lease accounting under ASC 842/IFRS 16.
• Perform lease abstraction and identify key terms.
• Maintain lease schedules and databases.
• Calculate ROU assets and lease liabilities.
• Record monthly lease accounting entries and journal entries.
• Handle lease mods, renewals, terminations and remeasurements.
• Reconcile sub-ledgers to General Ledger.
• Support month-end/quarter-end close activities.
• Prepare lease-related reporting and disclosures.
• Investigate variances and perform account reconciliations.
• Coordinate with FP&A, Controllership, AP and Procurement.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and policies.
• Support audits with lease schedules and documentation.
• Utilize LeaseAccelerator, CoStar, Visual Lease, Nakisa, SAP, Oracle.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lease accounting activities under ASC 842 / IFRS 16.
• Perform lease abstraction from contracts and identify key lease terms.
• Maintain and update lease accounting schedules and databases.
• Calculate ROU (Right-of-Use) assets and lease liabilities.
• Perform monthly lease accounting and journal entries.
• Calculate lease payments, interest, amortization, and depreciation.
• Handle lease modifications, renewals, terminations, and remeasurements.
• Perform lease reconciliations between sub-ledgers and the General Ledger.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities.
• Prepare lease-related reporting and disclosures.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Coordinate with FP&A, Controllership, AP, Procurement, and business teams.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP / IFRS and company accounting policies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing lease schedules and documentation.
• Work with lease accounting tools such as LeaseAccelerator, CoStar, Visual Lease, Nakisa, SAP, Oracle, etc.
