Job summary

Husky TechnologiesTM is seeking a Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to shape employee growth on our India campus and scale programs globally. You will design, coordinate, facilitate, and continuously improve onboarding, leadership development, and performance initiatives in partnership with leaders across regions.

• Bachelor's degree with MBA or post-graduation in HR/OD or related field.
• 7+ years of L&D, TD, or OD experience in global/MNCs with matrix reporting.
• Experience designing onboarding, leadership, and employee development programs.
• Knowledge of career development frameworks and competency models.
• Strong instructional design and curriculum development skills.
• Experience facilitating virtual and in-person learning programs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with LMS (Oracle) and digital learning platforms.

About the Role

We are seeking a Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to support employee development initiatives, initially focused on our India campus, with the opportunity to scale programs globally. This role will design, coordinate, facilitate, and continuously improve learning programs that support onboarding, career development, leadership growth, and employee performance.

Reporting to the Director, Organizational Development in Canada, the ideal candidate is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences, building scalable programs, and partnering effectively with leaders and subject matter experts across regions. As part of a global HR team, this role requires the ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple time zones to deliver impactful learning solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Onboarding & Integration

• Manage and enhance the virtual employee onboarding program.

• Partner with business leaders and technical teams to develop role-specific onboarding programs.

• Measure onboarding effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.

Career Development & Career Pathing

• Design and implement career development frameworks and career pathing tools to support employee career planning, skill development, and internal mobility.

• Partner with leaders to identify growth opportunities and development pathways for employees.

Development (Leadership & Employee)

• Design, coordinate, and support leadership development programs for emerging and established leaders.

• Develop and deploy employee development programs that build critical professional and technical skills.

• Conduct learning needs assessments and recommend appropriate training solutions.

• Track participation, effectiveness, and learning outcomes using relevant metrics.

Facilitation & Program Delivery

• Create and deliver engaging virtual and in-person training programs, including the development of eLearning content and learning materials, to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.

• Support local learning initiatives while maintaining alignment with global learning strategies.

Program Design & Global Scalability

• Build learning programs that can be standardized, scaled, and deployed globally.

• Leverage learning technologies and digital platforms to maximize learner engagement and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Any Bachelor's degree with MBA or Post Graduation with specialization in Human Resources, Organizational Development or a related field from reputed Institutions.

• 7 years+ of hard core experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Organizational Development, or related discipline from Global / Multi National Companies with Matrix reporting structure.

• Experience in designing and managing onboarding, leadership, and employee development programs.

• Knowledge of career development frameworks and competency models.

• Strong instructional design and curriculum development skills.

• Experience facilitating virtual and instructor-led learning programs.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong project management and organizational skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably Oracle, and digital learning platforms.
