Job summary

Birlasoft in India is seeking an experienced Lead - Windchill Functional SME (Meritor/CDBS) to support Windchill implementation and transformation initiatives. You will translate business requirements into scalable Windchill solutions and drive training and knowledge transfer across global teams.

The role demands strong knowledge of Meritor processes, BRD/FRS creation, UAT support, and hands-on engagement with product teams, stakeholders, and technical teams in a hybrid delivery environment.

• Assist in Go-Live readiness and post-implementation support.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Windchill Functional SME with strong knowledge of Meritor business processes and CDBS applications to support functional requirement generation, solution design, user adoption, and Train-the-Trainer activities during Windchill implementation and transformation initiatives. The candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical implementation teams to ensure business requirements are translated into scalable Windchill solutions while driving organizational readiness and knowledge transfer.

Functional Skills

• Strong experience in Windchill PLM implementations.
• Expertise in business process analysis and requirement engineering.
• Experience creating BRDs, FRSs, user stories, and process documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Engineering Change Management and Product Development Lifecycle.
• Experience supporting UAT and business validation activities.

Domain Knowledge

• Hands-on experience with Meritor business processes.
• Understanding of CDBS application landscape, workflows, and data structures.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, product development, and supply chain processes.

Training & Enablement

• Experience delivering Train-the-Trainer programs.
• Ability to develop role-based learning content.
• Strong workshop facilitation and presentation skills.

Soft Skills
