Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Lead - WC Chiller Sustaining & Value Engineer in Gurgaon/Sricity to drive design, development and localization of chillers while leading value engineering efforts. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, regulatory compliance, and end-to-end program execution.

The candidate will champion VAVE activities, manage ETO/MTO customization, and provide technical proposals to support customer requirements, ensuring quality and reliable performance across product lines.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech degree is required.
• 8–12 years of experience in product engineering and value engineering.
• Expertise in thermal and performance engineering including AHRI/BEE/ASME.
• Experience in ETO/MTO customization and design-to-value initiatives.
• Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and collaboration.
• Ability to drive end-to-end projects with risk and delivery focus.
• Support for customer-specific solutions and technical proposals.

Responsibilities

• Design, development and localization of chiller products.
• Drive VAVE and product optimization for chillers.
• Support troubleshooting, RCA and field issues.
• Manage ETO/MTO customizations and customer solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals and requirements management.
• Coordinate cross-functional and regional alignments.

About The Role

As the Lead -WC Chiller Sustaining & Value Engineer for Carrier., you’ll executes elements of product development activities and testing. Responsible for enhancing commonality and optimization of product and components.

Requirements

• Chiller Expertise – Screw, Scroll, Centrifugal

• Minimum qualification is B.E/B.Tech graduate

• Design-to-Value – Cost reduction & optimisation
