Job summary

Henkel India is seeking a Senior Officer - Materials Management in Navi Mumbai to manage 3PL warehouse operations, govern SLAs, and optimize costs. You will drive KPI-based performance, leverage SAP WM/EWM, WMS, and EDI, and lead automation initiatives while ensuring SHEQ compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations and supply chain processes.
• Experience managing 3PL providers, SLAs, and contract negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP (WM/EWM), WMS, and EDI; warehouse automation knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI proficiency.
• Familiarity with SHEQ, audits, RCA/CAPA, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and govern 3PL warehouse operations to ensure service levels and contractual commitments.

• Lead 3PL governance, contract management, SLAs, pricing, and lifecycle activities.
• Oversee warehouse financials: invoice validation, budget monitoring, spend analysis, cost-saving opportunities.

• Drive continuous improvement for productivity and standardization.
• Ensure SHEQ compliance, audits, risk assessments, and RCA/CAPA actions.

• Manage and govern 3PL warehouse operations to ensure adherence to service levels, company policies, operational standards, and contractual commitments.
• Drive warehouse performance through KPI management, including inventory accuracy, cost control, quality compliance, safety performance, and service excellence.
• Lead 3PL partner governance and contract management by conducting regular performance reviews, managing SLAs, pricing agreements, and contract lifecycle activities.
• Oversee warehouse financials and cost optimization through invoice validation, budget monitoring, spend analysis, and identification of cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure effective utilization of warehouse systems and technologies, including SAP, WMS, EDI, and automation tools, to enhance operational efficiency and visibility.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity enhancement, process standardization, operational excellence, and supply chain optimization.
• Ensure compliance, quality, and risk management by maintaining SHEQ standards, supporting audits, conducting risk assessments, and implementing RCA/CAPA actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and leverage data analytics to support strategic decision-making, warehouse network optimization, space utilization, and successful onboarding of new warehouse facilities.
