Job summary

AGCO Corporation is seeking a Lead Validation Engineer in Pune, India to drive global validation data collection, analytics toolchains, and AI-enabled data analytics across AGCO sites. You will lead PoC projects, define strategies, and oversee implementation at team and site levels.

The role requires a strong background in data analytics/AI, global collaboration, and the ability to train and align validation practices across product lines.

Qualifications

• Total 10 years of experience with Data Analytics or Electronics/Software Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years in data analytics and/or AI; global experience preferred.
• Experience with AI & data analytics toolchains and templates.
• Experience using digital twins and AI-driven analytics is preferred.
• Strong communication and global stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze machine data from fleets to back up DVP definitions in project planning.
• Drive innovation and implement latest simulation methods; reduce validation dependency on physical equipment.

AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Lead Validation Engineer

The Lead Validation Engineer will be a member of the global validation core team (GVCT) responsible for creating and maintaining global definitions for data collection, analytics and AI use across the AGCO validation teams. The role includes long-term planning of the strategies, methods and toolchains, running PoC projects, as well as overseeing the implementation of the defined strategy on a team/site level.

Your Impact

• Definition of global validation data collection and analysis standard: Define and oversee the implementation of a global data collection and analytics toolchain across all AGCO engineering sites.
• Machine data: Ensure the existing data collected from the machine fleet (i.e. connected customer fleet, connected validation fleet) is analyzed and used to back up DVP definition in project planning.
• Innovation: Drive innovation and implementation of the latest simulation methods across the teams. Innovation: Actively study and find new methodologies and ways to increase the speed and quality of data analytics including use the collected data from AGCO customer & validation fleets. Actively seek ways to reduce validation dependency on physical equipment.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Present strategies to site validation leads and act as an internal trainer to the validation teams globally. Engage with site data analytics engineers and collaborate in defining global strategies.
• Participate in other initiatives within the Global Validation Core team, collaborate with peers and ensure alignment of validation standards between all AGCO product lines.

Your Experience And Qualifications

• Experience: Total 10 years of experience. Post Educational Background: 4-year Data Analytics or Electronics, and/or Software (or similar) Engineering Degree.
• Minimum 4 years of data-analytics and/or AI experience. (additional - preferred) Global experience, training experience.
• Data Analytics Expertise: Practical knowledge and experience in AI & data analytics toolchains, methods and processes. Ability to create usable data analytics templates and tools for the validation sites, based on specifications.
• Innovation: (Preferred) Experience using digital twins and AI-driven data-analytics tools & processes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication & presentation skills w/ global teams and stakeholders. Global Consistency: Ability and willingness to drive global consistency and commonality in validation practices.
