Job summary

Standard Chartered India is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to lead end-to-end design and development for blockchain initiatives within the DLT Centre of Excellence. The role requires deep technical design skills to drive product delivery across distributed ledger technologies and regulated environments.

The candidate should have hands-on experience delivering applications that manage client journeys, with agile teamwork and robust design/code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Blockchain Platforms: Hands-on experience with permissioned blockchain frameworks such as Quorum, Hyperledger Besu, Hyperledger Fabric, and Corda, including provisioning, configuration, and orchestration.
• DLT Use Cases: Understanding of DLT applications like Real World Asset tokenization, Cross-Border Payments, Decentralized Identity (DID), and smart contract‑based financial products.
• Software Engineering: Proficiency in backend development using Python or Golang, Solidity, RESTful API design, and microservice architectures.
• DevOps & Deployment: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm; deploying systems on AWS EKS or Azure AKS with CI/CD pipelines.
• Cryptography & Security: Knowledge of cryptographic primitives including PKI, symmetric/asymmetric encryption, digital signatures, and secure key management.
• System Integration: Collaborate across platform, security, network, and compliance teams for seamless DLT integration into enterprise ecosystems.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Familiarity with AWS/Azure networking, access controls, high-availability setups, and infrastructure automation.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong UI / UX Designer for the initiatives within our Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Centre of Excellence. This role involves end-to-end design & development of innovative, high-impact projects involving blockchain infrastructure, digital assets, and enterprise-grade integrations. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of deep technical expertise skills to drive product delivery across emerging technologies and regulated environments.

The candidate must be a skilled professional who has E2E software development experience with a desire to work on an agile, dynamic and flat organisational structure. Must have hands‑on experience in building applications to manage client journey and experience. They will be matured individuals who are comfortable working in an agile environment with critical peer reviews of design and code. They must be able to offer constructive critical reviews of other’s designs and code. They will be able to research, trial, and recommend new technologies of interest to the group. They will have experience with taking code through testing, deployment, and production.
