Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited seeks a Lead Technology Analyst for SAP BTP Integration Suite to bridge strategy with hands‑on delivery across SAP and non‑SAP systems. You will guide migrations from SAP PO to BTP, enforce governance, and mentor delivery teams in an agile, international environment.

The role requires 9–12 years of enterprise integration experience, strong scripting (Groovy/Java/XSLT), and expertise in CPI, API Management, and security protocols (mTLS, OAuth2, SAML, JWT).

Qualifications

• 9–12 years of experience in designing and optimizing enterprise interfaces using SAP PO and SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on proficiency with SAP BTP Integration Suite services including CPI, API Management, AEM, and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Hands‑on experience migrating SAP PO to SAP BTP IS using standard migration methodologies.
• Solid understanding of hybrid integration architectures (On‑Premise to Cloud), Edge Integration Cell (EIC) deployment/configuration, and S/4HANA integration patterns.
• Advanced scripting and mapping in Groovy, Java, XSLT, and UDFs.
• Experience with Web Services and API technologies (REST, OData, SOAP, XML/JSON) and API Management Policies.
• In‑depth knowledge of integration security: Encryption (PGP, SSL/TLS) and authentication (mTLS, OAuth2, SAML, JWT).
• Experience managing high‑volume production interfaces, performance tuning, and SLA adherence.
• Proven Agile/SCRUM experience with global distributed teams and strong stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design and development of complex, scalable, high‑volume interfaces across hybrid landscapes.
• Lead migration of legacy SAP PO flows to SAP BTP Integration Suite with minimal business disruption.
• Enforce development standards, security compliance, and platform governance across teams.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical specifications and solution designs.
• Provide technical guidance and upskilling to junior developers and delivery pods in the Integration CoE.
• Configure and maintain secure hybrid connectivity using SAP Cloud Connector, BTP Cockpit, and EIC configurations.
• Develop data transformations and processing logic using Groovy, Java, and XSLT.
• Perform root cause analysis, RCA, and drive incident resolution for production issues.

About the Position

Airbus is driving an enterprise-wide digital transformation to optimize and modernize its core ERP systems for a connected world. As part of this journey, we are transitioning our integration landscape toward SAP BTP Integration Suite and S/4HANA global templates.

We are seeking a Lead Technology Analyst – SAP BTP Integration Suite to bridge enterprise strategy with hands‑on technical delivery. In this role, you will act as a key technical authority for designing, building, and maintaining complex hybrid integrations across SAP and Non‑SAP applications (On‑Premise, Public, and Private Cloud). You will lead legacy migration efforts (SAP PO to BTP Integration Suite), enforce technical governance, conduct code reviews, and guide development teams within an agile, international cross‑functional environment.

Qualification & Experience

• 9–12 years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise interfaces using SAP PO and SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Core BTP Capabilities: Strong hands‑on proficiency with SAP BTP Integration Suite services including Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Advanced Event Mesh (AEM), and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Migration Expertise: Hands‑on experience executing SAP PO to SAP BTP IS migrations, utilizing assessment tools, automated accelerators, and standard migration methodologies.
• Architecture & Connectivity: Solid understanding of hybrid integration architectures (On‑Premise to Cloud), Edge Integration Cell (EIC) deployment/configuration, and S/4HANA integration patterns.
• Technical Depth: Advanced scripting and mapping experience in Groovy Scripting, Java, XSLT, Graphical Mapping, and User Defined Functions (UDFs).
• API & Protocols: Hands‑on expertise with Web Services and API technologies (REST, OData, SOAP, XML/JSON) and implementing API Management Policies.
• Enterprise Security: In‑depth knowledge of integration security protocols, including Encryption (PGP, SSL/TLS) and Authentication mechanisms (mTLS, OAuth2, SAML, JWT).
• Operations & Reliability: Experience managing high‑volume production interfaces, performance tuning, and ensuring SLA adherence in high‑compliance environments.
• Agile & Collaboration: Proven experience working in global, distributed teams using Agile/SCRUM methodologies with strong communication skills to engage directly with business stakeholders.

Key Roles

• Interface Design & Delivery: Drive the design and development of complex, scalable, high‑volume interfaces following modern integration patterns and reusable blueprints.
• PO to BTP Migration Lead: Technical lead for migrating legacy SAP PO flows to SAP BTP Integration Suite with zero business interruption.
• Quality & Code Governance: Conduct peer code reviews and technical audits to enforce development standards, security compliance, and platform governance across teams.
• Business & Technical Liaison: Translate functional business requirements into robust technical specifications and solution designs.
• Mentorship & Pod Support: Provide technical guidance and upskilling to junior developers and delivery pods within the Integration CoE.

Primary Responsibilities

• Solution Engineering: Build and manage end‑to‑end integration flows across hybrid landscapes utilizing Cloud Integration, API Management, and Event‑Driven Architecture (EDA).
• S/4HANA Transformation Support: Support global S/4HANA rollout templates by delivering real‑time, resilient SAP and Non‑SAP integrations.
• Connectivity & Edge Setup: Configure and maintain secure hybrid connectivity using SAP Cloud Connector, BTP Cockpit subaccounts, and Edge Integration Cell (EIC) configurations.
• Scripting & Mapping: Develop complex data transformations and custom processing logic using Groovy, Java, and XSLT.
• Operational Excellence & Incident Resolution: Perform deep‑dive troubleshooting for complex production incidents, drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and optimize message processing performance.
• Governance & Standards: Enforce strict naming conventions, artifact versioning, CI/CD practices, and documentation standards across the integration lifecycle.
• SAP Roadmap Alignment: Maintain active awareness of SAP integration roadmaps, composable ERP strategies, and emerging platform capabilities.

• On‑time, high‑quality delivery of integration flows for S/4HANA transformations and BTP migration projects.
• SLA Compliance: High system availability, low error rates, and rapid resolution of operational issues.
