Job summary

Societe Generale is seeking a senior DevOps/SRE professional to provide cloud platform production support and drive automation across distributed teams in France, India, and other locations. You will work on API-driven infrastructure, containers, and microservices, delivering secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.

The role requires extensive experience in CI/CD, monitoring, and tooling architecture, with hands-on Python, Terraform and Ansible development.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in cloud platform production support, DevOps, and application development.
• Significant experience in SRE or DevOps.
• Past experience as a Python / GitHub/ Terraform / Ansible developer.
• Experience on infrastructures based mainly on API, containers, micro-services.
• Ability to set up the metrics needed to monitor applications.
• Work independently and in a multicultural, distributed team.
• Involved in environment updates, DR, and patch upgrades.
• Assist DevOps of the perimeter to define and implement automation (CI/CD, tests, deployments, monitoring).
• Contribute to tooling architecture and technology choices.
• Manage hosting infrastructures and IaaS/PaaS on SG Private Cloud.
• Ensure delivery, resiliency, scalability, and security of solutions.

• Involved in application environment updates, DR, server/OS patches upgrades
• Assist the DevOps of the perimeter as well as their teams to define and implement an automation strategy (CI / CD, tests, deployments, supervision, Monitoring etc.).
• Contribute to technological choices and architecture of the tooling of the team
• Manage internal hosting infrastructures and IaaS / PaaS services on the Societe Generale Private Cloud.
• Ensure the delivery and operations of a consistent, resilient, scalable and reliable.
• Contribute to ensuring the security of the solutions offered to customers and their data.
