Job summary

Aptia is seeking a Lead Specialist to join the Business Improvement Change Team to help shape pension administration and drive continuous improvement across Operations.

You will participate in strategic planning, lead change initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions while contributing to product development and innovation within Aptia's expanding services.

Qualifications

• Experience with strategic planning and decision-making related to pension administration.
• Ability to lead small to medium change initiatives and act as SME on strategic changes.
• Experience contributing to continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making related to pension administration and change team.
• Lead on small to medium change initiatives or to be an active participant/subject matter expert of strategic changes affecting the business.
• Contribute towards implementing and communicating initiatives to support Operations business plan.
• Collaborating with colleagues across Operations to seek opportunities for continual improvement, ensuring appropriate design and effective delivery of the function’s component in each case
• Provide technical and subject matter expert input, including keeping up to date with relevant technical, statutory, fiscal, professional and commercial aspects of pensions.
• Implement and maintain policies, processes, communications and quality assurance frameworks aligning across business platforms to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and scalability within parameters.
• Contribute to product / proposition development.
• Recommend solutions to problems, including challenging the status quo, providing an environment which supports creativity and innovation, sharing good practices and innovation across the business and to liaise regularly with the internal teams and external bodies.
• Contribute towards Kaizen initiatives received via Business Improvements Framework and bring ideas to closure.
