Job summary

Foss United in India is seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python and AWS, aligning technical solutions with customer needs and business goals.

You will lead a team of developers, perform design reviews, create documentation, build RESTful APIs, and drive microservices and containerization with Docker, AWS ECS/ECR, and CloudFormation, while fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Python core knowledge, including decorators and advanced features.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, IAM).
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Microservices architecture and Docker-based containerization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
