EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Python to lead development and shape technical decisions across multi-national teams.

You will coordinate execution, align efforts with business goals, and deliver robust software built around Python and modern engineering standards. You will elevate CI/CD practices with GitHub Actions, optimize PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server performance, and mentor engineers while delivering scalable solutions across complex systems.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of software development experience with deep Python expertise.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server covering design, optimization, and DB management.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions to implement CI/CD workflows.
• Strong ReactJS skills for interactive user interfaces.
• Understanding of Scrum/Agile methods for collaborative development.
