The role would require you to develop sophisticated products that add value to the client and result in new projects and revenue streams.

What You'll Do

• Provide technical leadership for backend engineering initiatives and projects.
• Own the architecture and design of large-scale distributed systems.
• Create and review High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
• Drive architecture decisions balancing scalability, reliability, security, and cost.
• Lead design reviews, architecture reviews, and technical governance processes.
• Mentor and coach engineers across multiple experience levels.
• Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development guidelines.
• Perform thorough code reviews and ensure code quality across teams.
• Partner with Product Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.
• Drive technical roadmap planning and technology adoption decisions.
• Lead performance optimization, reliability improvements, and production readiness reviews.
• Own incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning.
• Champion observability, monitoring, logging, tracing, and operational excellence.
• Guide capacity planning, resiliency strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
• Support hiring, technical interviews, onboarding, and team development initiatives.
