Qualifications

• 4–5 years of software development experience, with at least 1–2 years leading or mentoring a development team.
• Strong backend development skills in Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs, webhooks, and third‑party platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with frontend technologies such as React.
• Experience working with AI/LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Google Dialogflow, Azure AI, AWS).
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, including testing lifecycle, QA processes, and debugging workflows.
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (unit testing, integration testing, API testing tools such as Postman or similar).
• Proven ability to manage development workflows including sprints, standups, code reviews, and release cycles.
• Experience working in startup or fast‑paced environments.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with GitHub, including PR workflows and branching strategies.

This role is primarily hands‑on, with approximately 60% of the time focused on coding and building products, and 40% dedicated to mentoring developers, coordinating sprints, and supporting delivery execution. You will work on complex features, AI integrations, and architectural decisions across our CX, Chat AI, Voice AI, and custom application platforms. Alongside development, you will guide a small team, conduct code reviews, support sprint planning, and ensure smooth and timely delivery of projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both building technology and guiding others, and wants to play a key role in shaping products, processes, and the overall engineering culture in a fast‑paced startup environment.
