Job summary

Relatient in Pune, India, seeks a Lead Software Engineer to design, build, and deliver enterprise-scale software solutions from Amar Tech Park. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and collaborate across functions to deliver secure, scalable products.

You’ll own SDLC phases, ensure code quality, and drive API and UI/UX development using Java, TypeScript, Angular, and modern web technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, BE/BTech or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 9+ years of software engineering experience with increasing technical responsibility.
• Strong expertise in Java, TypeScript, and Angular.
• Experience with monolithic and microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases; experience with AWS, Docker, and Git.

Your Role at Relatient:

We’re seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our team at Amar Tech Park. You’ll be part of an engaging culture focused on meaningful work that makes a difference.

In this role, you will design, build, and deliver enterprise-scale software solutions. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor engineering team members, and collaborate across functions to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure products.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Lead development of software modules, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions with minimal oversight.
• Mentor and guide software engineers, fostering technical growth and continuous learning.
• Design and develop modern UI/UX interfaces and backend APIs using full-stack technologies.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize deliverables.
• Drive adoption of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Partner across Agile teams to design, build, test, deploy, and support technical solutions.
• Own and manage all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for new and existing systems.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions, including monolith and microservices-based solutions.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, B.E., B.Tech., or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 9+ years of software engineering experience with progressively increasing technical responsibility.
• Strong expertise in Java, TypeScript, and Angular.
• Experience with both monolithic and microservices architectures.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and web fundamentals.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Git.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
