Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled engineer with at least 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using C#, C++, Angular, .NET, and Web APIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, with hands‑on experience building scalable front-end applications, robust backend services, reusable APIs, and high-performance components. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, maintainable, and production‑ready software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practical experience using tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar AI‑assisted development tools.
- Prompt engineering skills for writing clear prompts and validating AI‑generated outputs.
- Responsible use of AI across the SDLC for coding, debugging, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting while maintaining security and compliance.
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, Python, HTML, CSS, and modern front‑end engineering practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful Web APIs and backend services using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and related frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with Angular front‑end components.
- Understand and be able to explain practices (such as refactoring, TDD and pair programming) and their benefits so that the team consistently works together with a deep understanding. Adhere to accepted best practices of SDLC (I.e. unit testing, CI/CD, etc.) and act on the principles of Agile/Scrum within the team
- Independently translate product requirements into scoped engineering efforts; Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Peer review code from other members of the team offering candid, caring, and constructive feedback. Mentor junior development staff through active listening and pair programming
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.
- Take ownership of software quality beyond development by defining and following best practices for unit tests, API tests, automated test coverage, code coverage targets, and validation of critical workflows to ensure reliable and production‑ready solutions.
- Proactively address security concerns throughout the SDLC by supporting secure coding practices, vulnerability scans using tools such as Snyk and Qualys, remediation of identified risks, penetration test findings, and compliance with application security standards.
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, curiosity, and adaptability by proactively delivering commitments, managing risks, communicating progress or blockers transparently, staying open to feedback, learning new technologies including AI‑assisted development tools, and continuously improving day‑to‑day engineering practices.
