Job summary

RTX, in collaboration with Collins Aerospace, is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP and UI5/Fiori Developer based in Hyderabad. You will translate business requirements into robust SAP solutions across ABAP, UI5/Fiori, CDS Views, OData, and Gateway.

You will collaborate with global teams, participate in code reviews, and ensure best practices. Prior SAP development experience in a large enterprise environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3+ years of relevant SAP experience.
• 3+ years hands-on SAP technical design, development, and support.
• Strong experience in ABAP development incl. OO ABAP, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP ABAP applications and reports.
• Develop and enhance SAP Fiori apps using SAPUI5; focus on good UX.
• Create/modify CDS Views for real-time reporting and Fiori use.
• Develop and enhance OData services to connect Fiori with SAP backend.
• ABAP development across SD, MM, PP, FI, CO, HR per business needs.
• Integrate Fiori apps with SAP using Gateway and OData services.
• Troubleshoot ABAP and Fiori issues; optimize ABAP code for performance.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate requirements into solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to SAP standards; perform unit tests.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP and UI5/Fiori Developer to join our SAP technology team and help deliver modern, scalable, and user‑centric SAP solutions.

In this role, you will work across SAP ABAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, CDS Views, OData, and SAP Gateway, translating business requirements into reliable technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants and global stakeholders to enhance SAP applications, improve system performance, and support business‑critical processes.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP ABAP applications, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW).
• Develop and enhance SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, with a focus on intuitive and responsive user experiences.
• Create and modify CDS Views to support real‑time reporting and Fiori applications.
• Develop and enhance OData services to connect Fiori applications with SAP backend systems.
• Perform ABAP development and support across SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, FI, CO, and HR, based on business requirements.
• Integrate Fiori applications with SAP systems using SAP Gateway and OData services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across ABAP programs and Fiori applications.
• Analyze and optimize ABAP code to improve system performance and integration with SAP and non‑SAP systems.
• Partner with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
• Perform unit testing and support integration and system testing.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including technical specifications and user documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and support for SAP ABAP and Fiori‑related issues.
