Siemens in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior C++ Developer to develop, maintain, and enhance C++/MFC applications, focusing on analyzing issues and implementing new features. You will contribute to legacy code modernization, write design artifacts, and participate in design reviews and development activities.

The role requires strong C++ fundamentals, OOP, STL, and memory management with 6–10 years of experience, plus familiarity with MFC and PlantUML.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of experience in C++ development.
• Strong understanding of C++ fundamentals, OOP, STL, memory management and design principles.
• Familiarity with MFC is beneficial.
• Experience with analyzing and debugging legacy code.
• Ability to create technical documentation and design diagrams (PlantUML preferred).

• Being a graduate B.E/ B. Tech/ MCA/ M.E/ M. Tech/MSc Computer Science with 6 to 10 years of experience in C++
• 6-10 years of experience in C++ development.
• Strong understanding of C++ fundamentals, OOP concepts, STL, memory management, and design principles.
• Familiarity with MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes) would be beneficial.
• Ability to understand, maintain, and enhance complex legacy codebases.
• Good knowledge of software design patterns and architecture concepts.
• Experience in creating well-structured technical documentation.
• Ability to create and maintain design diagrams; basic knowledge of PlantUML is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Microsoft Copilot, or similar tools, and ability to leverage them effectively for development, debugging, documentation, and productivity improvement.
